Both the Light Rail Tunnel and Freeway Tunnels would offer long-term jobs because of the requirements for ongoing operation and maintenance of these facilities (1300 for Light Rail; 800-1000 for freeway tunnel). However, in addition, the Light Rail Tunnel needs operators, and the Operations and Maintenance Centers at each end of the tunnel will need to be staffed.
